HM Government e-petitions

Mediawatch-UK

Founded by the late Mary Whitehouse, this organisation campaigns, quite rightly, for decency and accountability within the media and contains many startling statistics and examples of how indecent the media have become.

Media Lens

A useful site which checks "the media’s version of events against credible facts and opinion provided by journalists, academics and specialist researchers" to get to the truth of a particular news report.

Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
